Description:
The competition entry proposes a linear building, articulated to the existing school at its main entrance aligned with the street Virrey Poveda, from where the school is accessible at two different levels.
A prominent linear building, with a characteristic staggered shape, developes along the street. It adapts to the ground topography and hosts the functional program providing a new street front.
Westward, over the main avenue, the playing ground. A long courtyard extends along the plot in two levels, connected through ramps. It overlooks the Avenue in the same way as it does today. A wall shapes its border and the width of the playground defines a spatial extension of the boulevard.
